So close yet so far...
Round 2 was always sizing up to be a tough round against powerhouse club North Beach. In A, A Res and A Colts all three grades were either in front or within a kick with 5 minutes to play and we lost all three, not a good day at the office at all. However there are many positives which can be taken from this as A and A Res haven't been in a winning position against North Beach for a number of years, the boys just have to convert these opportunities! The E grade also went down, however the Dingoes had a convincing 47 point victory and the C Colts had their first win for the year which is a great sign of the current depth of the colts sides. Round 3 v TA's
This week all sides play Trinity Aquinas, with the A stream at home and the E's, Dingoes and C colts away at Bill Grayden. It is a massive game for A grade with both teams yet to register a victory and we need to win to ensure we stay in touch of the 5. Show your support for the boys and get down to McGillvray to watch the boys in action.
