Week 2 News

OPENNING DAY - 50 / 50
A mixed bag for the football club over the weekend with 3 wins and 3 losses. A Grade and A Reserves went down by 22 and 21 points respectively, both games were mirror images whereby they allowed Collegians to get the early jump and establish a margin that proved too big to reel back. The A colts played a great brand of football and the senior sides can learn from this as they had a sensational win by 31 points. The E grade and Dingoes both had solid victories over Wembley to start their campaigns. The C colts showed good signs in their narrow 20 point loss to Collegians. For a full wrap see match reports below.
THIS WEEK NORTH BEACH
This weekend all sides play North Beach with the A stream heading to Charles Riley and the E grade, Dingoes and C colts at home. They are all massive games this week against the powerhouse club of the last decade. North Beach are the reigning A grade premiers and Uni will have to be at their best to take up the challenge and snare the points from North Beach! It is time for the boys to teach the beach!
NEW SPONSORS - OLD BRIDGE CELLARS AND FLEET NETWORK ON BOARD
It is with great pleasure that I announce that Old Bride Cellars and Fleet Network have signed up as sponsors of Uni. We would encourage all members and supporters to please support these two businesses as it will result in much needed additional funding for the club.
